The first official book about the K-pop group BTS has rocketed to the top of Amazon’s bestseller charts.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 544-page edition of Beyond History: 10 Years of BTS Recordings went on sale on July 9. Within hours of its release, a book about the Korean band topped two Amazon sales charts: among music biographies, beating out former Beatles member Paul McCartney’s new book, and among memoirs.
It should be noted that this is the first official book on BTS. The release of the publication is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the South Korean national team. Its author, biographer Mengseok Kang, spent 3 years with the group collecting interviews from the seven members of BTS and observing their lives onstage and behind the scenes.
