Crimean clubs played in the championship of Russia.

In the 1st round of the Second League “Rubin” Yalta on the road played a draw with “Biologist” (1:1), and “Sevastopol” defeated Rostov SKA (3:1).

In June, Sevastopol and Rubin passed certification in the FNL to participate in the Second League.

Thus, clubs from Crimea played in the Russian Championship for the first time since the 2014/15 season. Then the Russian Football Union allowed SKCHF (Sevastopol), TSK (Simferopol) and Zhemchuzhina (Yalta) to participate in the second division of the PFL in the South zone, as well as in the Russian Cup.

On December 4, 2014, at a meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee, it was decided to ban Crimean clubs from participating in competitions organized by the RFU from January 1, 2015. On January 23, 2015, the RFU executive committee excluded the clubs from the championship participants. The results of matches involving these clubs were annulled.
