Tatyana Pozdnyakova, a prominent specialist of the Meteonovosti news agency, spoke about the weather in Moscow during the week of July 17-23. She shared this with Moscow 24.

According to Pozdnyakova, the weather conditions are expected to worsen from Monday due to possible rain and thunderstorms. You noted that during the day the air temperature can vary from +25 to +27 degrees, but at night it will drop to +16 degrees.

“Thunderstorm activity will develop on Tuesday afternoon. Wind gusts during a thunderstorm can increase to 12-18 meters per second,” Pozdnyakova warned.

The expert added that short rains are expected throughout the week. At the same time, gusts of wind can reach 15-20 meters per second, and the average air temperature will be from +20 to +25 degrees. According to her, the expected July heat will not happen.

Earlier, climatologist Karnaukhov said that residents of central Russia this year should not expect the same abnormal heat that was observed in the summer of 2010. According to him, the risk of forest fires is also zero, since in recent months it is enough rain fell.
