The Russian Ministry of Defense has compiled a list of diseases in which citizens who are recognized as partially fit for military service will not be able to enter into a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation under the conditions of mobilization.
The document, which indicates the diseases proposed by the Ministry of Defense, is published on the federal portal of projects of regulatory legal acts.
The list includes, among others, a disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It will also be impossible to treat under contract those suffering from diseases such as moderate bronchial asthma, heart failure, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis and type I diabetes. In addition, the department has listed some malignant neoplasms, epilepsy, cerebrovascular accidents and their consequences.
