Racing Valverdeño held its ordinary general assembly in which issues such as the club’s accounts, the state of the squad or the activities for the 50th anniversary were discussed with a view to setting up for the next season.
The president of the club, Pedro Moreno, thanked each and every one of the people who collaborate with the club, expressed his satisfaction with the successes of the previous campaign in which Racing finished champion of the Primera Extremeña and was promoted to category, congratulated Fernando Negrete García on the publication of his book on the club’s history and wished him a good season in the recently obtained Tercera RFEF.
Regarding the new season in Tercera, the board chaired by Moreno set itself the main objective of achieving permanence as soon as possible. As far as the accounts are concerned, the club reported that it currently has a surplus. In the field of sports, as regards the first team, the same coaching staff will once again be trusted with Alfredo Soriano as coach, Juan Carlos Gaitán as second team and Carlos Olivera as physical trainer. The block that achieved promotion will be maintained with the continuity of Aitor, Botello, Roberto, Jona, Alonso, Álex Romero, Luis, Manu Ferrera, Borja Romero and Manu Rodríguez. Antonio Godoy, Fran, Roberto Fili, Manu Casado, Víctor González and Samu López arrive as reinforcements. While Carlos Gil, Toni Martínez, Borja Rueda, Oumar, Roberto Araujo and Fau cause casualties and with the injured Silverio and Llera their cases will be studied once they are recovered.
