French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said that by the end of 2023, Paris will train some 7,000 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) by the end of the year.
On the social network Twitter, the head of the French defense department indicated that about 5.2 thousand Ukrainian soldiers have already been trained in France, including 1.6 thousand trained in Poland. Approximately 7,000 people will be trained by the end of this year.
The British government also calculated the number of soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who have been in training for the last 6 months. They reported that Britain expanded the military program for Ukrainian recruits and trained more than 19,000 soldiers. This summer the training of Ukrainian pilots will begin in the Kingdom. In addition, within the framework of NATO, Great Britain will create a medical center for the rehabilitation of the Ukrainian army and send 50 million pounds sterling to kyiv to repair military equipment.
