Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vladislav Davankov believes that foreign cars of deputies and officials should be sold at auction.
The parliamentarian sent a letter to the head of the Federal Agency for Property Management Vadim Yakovenko, in which he proposed to organize an open auction for the sale of foreign cars of officials.
As noted in the press service of the New People party, Davankov clarifies in the document that he intends to auction cars made by companies “from hostile countries and which are now used by officials and deputies of the State Duma and senators of the Federation Council.”
In his opinion, the proceeds from such auctions should be used to buy cars for officials of companies in which foreign participation does not exceed 50%.
