During a campaign in the Ermakovsky district, in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a woman was killed by lightning.
According to information published on the official website of the regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, a group of 14 people of tourists went on a hike in the mountains of the Ergaki Nature Park. In the morning, 4 climbers began to climb Zvezdny Peak. When they were at an altitude of 400 m, the weather deteriorated sharply, a storm began, and lightning struck. As a result, the woman died on the spot, two men sustained leg injuries, and another climber was not injured.
A group of rescuers and investigators went to the scene of the accident. The UK is now investigating full details of the death of a tourist.
