Employees of the Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region opened a criminal case for a gas explosion in a residential building in Stupino, which occurred in April last year.
This tragedy claimed the lives of 6 people, three more received injuries of varying degrees. According to the press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), law enforcement officers found out that the explosion was caused by a local resident who decided to kill his wife and children.
The attacker was charged with the murder of 6 people, three of whom are children, in a generally dangerous manner, attempted and deliberate destruction of another person’s property.
Investigators referred the case to court for further proceedings.
