The corresponding decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin was published today.
The document notes that Wiener was awarded “for services to the state, a great contribution to the development of physical culture and sports.”
Viner is the head coach of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team, head of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
The coach became a full cavalier of the order. Previously, she was awarded II (2018), III (2008) and IV (2005) degrees of this award.
