Police officers in Kharkov detained a local resident who stabbed his mother, grandfather and sister and explained his act by the fact that Lucifer advised him to do this.
The tragedy, during which a 20-year-old man brutally treated his family (10-year-old sister, 49-year-old mother and 71-year-old grandfather), unfolded a few days ago.
First, the guy stabbed his sister and grandfather. Her mother witnessed her last murder, so her attacker did not leave her alive. According to the investigation, her mother received at least 13 stab wounds and her sister, six. Having finished with his relatives, the young man called a taxi and, threatening the driver with a knife, stole a car, in which he later killed a passerby and tried to escape. Having left the car, the offender jumped into the courtyard of a residential building, where he was detained by law enforcement officers.
At the trial, the defendant claimed that during the massacre he spoke to the devil. According to him, “Lucifer himself came to his head, advised him to change his life and help his relatives.”
Law enforcement officers opened a criminal case for premeditated homicide, illegal possession of a vehicle and violation of traffic regulations. The defendant faces life in prison.
