The sad news of the death of Marta Chávarri could affect the honeymoon of Tamara Falcó and Íñigo Onieva. Just a few hours ago, the Marquise de Griñón would have the album of her romantic trip to South Africa with her husband. “The beginning of a journey as sweet as honey and as beautiful as the moon,” wrote Isabel Preysler’s daughter on her Instagram account next to a carousel of photographs in Cape Town. The newlyweds had planned to spend several weeks traveling the world and enjoying their first days as ‘husband and wife’, but the unexpected death of the former Marquise de Cubas could make them take a ‘break’ on their honeymoon. The couple could return to Madrid to shelter Álvaro Falcó, Marta’s only son and Tamara’s first cousin.
The Marquise de Griñón maintains a close relationship with her cousin Álvaro, who was born as a result of the marriage of the Marques de Cubas, Fernando Falcó, who died in October 2020 a victim of COVID, and Marta. A marriage that ended in 1989 when some photos of her were published together with the businessman Alberto Cortina, who was then married to Alicia Koplowitz. The only child of the marriage was born in 1982 and his cousin, Tamara, had been born only a year before.. They have always gotten along very well. Álvaro was one of the attendees at his cousin’s wedding and he did it accompanied by his wife, Isabelle Junot, who is also one of Tamara’s best friends.
Álvaro and Isabelle, who were the parents of their first daughter last June, arrived very affected early on July 21 at the home of Marta Chávarri. It is not yet known if there will be a public farewell or if the businessman, current Marques de Cubas, will decide to fire his mother in the strictest privacy.
