The president of UD Las Palmas, Miguel Ángel Ramírez, and the journalist from Diario As, Pablo Checa, apparently made peace after the press conference held this Friday by the club to present the renewal of the brand. As a symbol, a handshake that settled the recent controversy over the threats that the correspondent received and that he himself revealed in a recording dated June where repeated insults were heard.
«I’m going to shit on your fucking mother (…) If I see you in the stadium or in Barranco Seco, I’ll blow your head, okay? When I see you I’m going to give you a host. Because she comes out of my balls (…) Go fuck yourself, I don’t talk to you anymore, moron », Ramírez yelled on the phone.
Both had spent early Friday morning on the radio program ‘El Larguero’, where the top shareholder of the sports club apologized for his behavior and guaranteed that he would lift the veto on press conferences and facilities in Las Palmas.
The controversy, according to the journalist, derives from the interviews published in his outlet with the victim of Joel Domínguez, the youth convicted of mistreatment that the club has already expelled for disciplinary reasons. Ramírez, on the other hand, assures that it was due to a series of comments on Twitter harshly criticizing the management of the club.
