Lionel Messi scored the 700th goal of his career, excluding penalties.

The Inter Miami striker came on as a substitute in the 54th minute of the Leagues Cup match with Cruz Azul (2:1) and scored the winning goal on the 94th free kick. It was the debut game of the Argentine for the club from the USA.

The goal against Cruz Azul was Messi’s 700th in his career, excluding penalties. From the 11-meter mark, he scored 108 goals.
