Sales of smart gadgets for animals have grown in Russia by one and a half times in a year, writes Izvestia.

According to the publication, we are talking about smart remote-controlled feeders and waterers, locators for determining the location of the animal, as well as trimmers and heated mats.

According to market participants, the reason for this was the general growing interest of Russians in smart home technologies and, accordingly, in gadgets for pets.

However, according to analysts, it is still premature to talk about mass production in this segment, since the rather high price of such gadgets acts as a deterrent.

It was previously reported that suppliers of gadgets in the Russian Federation are preparing to raise prices by an average of 10% by the end of the summer due to the growth of the dollar.
