Zenit bought defender Strahinja Erakovic from Red Star.
The Blue-White-Blues have announced that they have reached an agreement with Red Star Zvezda to sign the Serbian national team centre-back. The contract with the player was signed according to the 4+1 scheme.
Recall that Spartak was close to buying Erakovic. Red Star Zvezda canceled the deal with the Moscow club, as Zenit used the right of priority purchase, which they received some time ago.
It was reported that both clubs offered €7m and 10% of the resale for the player, who was given a salary of €1.5m a year. It was noted that the key point in the negotiations became Zenit’s agreement to keep Eraković on loan at Crvena Zvezda, but today the clubs did not report such agreements.
