Villanovense was missing his 8 and 16, but with the arrival of Alberto Fuentes he has already covered one of those two numbers. The Serón club announced this Sunday the arrival of the footballer, a native of Algeciras, who thus becomes the eleventh signing of this summer market.
At the age of 23, he arrives from Club Polideportivo El Ejido, where he has played 33 games this season and has scored three goals that did not help to avoid relegation.
“He is a left-handed midfielder who arrives to add to the Villanovense creation zone,” says the club in a statement in which it defines Alberto Fuentes as a player “of great quality who can develop his game both outside and inside and his area of greatest influence is between the lines.” In recent seasons he has developed his career in teams like Huesca B, getting to participate with the first team, Cultural Leonesa or Algeciras, he also went through the Oviedo affiliate.
With 21 troops already confirmed, Villanovense starts the preseason this Monday with a morning session, starting at 9.20 am, under the orders of José González ‘Gus’.
