Enterprises of the military-industrial complex (DIC) also require more than 16,000 specialists to expand production of weapons and special military equipment, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said.
“We are talking about working personnel and technical specialists and engineering personnel,” TASS reports the words of Manturov, who delivered in a welcome speech to the council members at the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District.
At the same time, he noted that tightening financial discipline at defense industry enterprises is correct and necessary, but this should be achieved “without excesses” and endless reports.
Earlier, Manturov said that Russian defense industry enterprises should use all their resources to fulfill the increased state defense order. According to the minister, defense industry enterprises have increased the production of priority weapons several times and are being improved at the same time. This is taking into account the experience of using weapons in the course of a special operation.
