Zenit announced the inclusion of Andrei Arshavin in the club’s board.

“It included nine people: Chairman of the Board Alexander Medvedev, Head Coach Sergey Semak, Deputy General Director – Executive Director Maxim Pogorelov, Director of the Legal Department Oleg Zadubrovsky, Deputy General Director for Security and Information Protection Alexander Vasilyev, Deputy General Director for Infrastructure Vladimir Litvinov, Communications Director Zhanna Dembo, Director of the Commercial Department Alexei Pak, Deputy General Director for Sports Development Andrey Arshavin,” the club said in a statement.

It is noted that the task of the new structure is to systematize and streamline the process of developing collegial decisions, as well as to provide “a larger planning horizon and greater involvement of managers in the activities of the club.”

Previously reportedthat Arshavin will continue to oversee the youth sector.
