Sobyanin: a new pedestrian bridge will connect Red October and Muzeon in a year | Society

A new pedestrian bridge will appear in Moscow between Krasny Oktyabr and Muzeon, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his personal website.

He spoke about the prospects for the implementation of the project, calling it long-awaited.

“I asked investors who should be involved in the reconstruction of Krasny Oktyabr to do this. Unfortunately they never got together. Therefore, a decision was made and last year we included the construction of this bridge in our program,” wrote the head of the city.

The construction of the building has already started. According to Sobyanin, the work should be completed in late 2024 or early 2025.

Earlier, the mayor spoke about the development of four districts in the south of the capital: East and West Biryulyovo, Moskvorechye-Saburovo and Tsaritsyno.
