The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation has developed a draft decree providing for lump sum payments in the amount of 100,000 rubles for each child injured during a special military operation (SVO).
The document published on the federal portal of projects of regulatory legal acts stipulates that families living in the regions of the Russian Federation bordering Ukraine, including those of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, whose children have been injured or injured since February 24, 2022, will be able to apply for this payment. In addition, the authors of the document propose to provide such children with the possibility of an annual vacation, including treatment in a sanatorium.
The procedure for providing such assistance will be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the country. At the same time, it will not be taken into account when receiving other payments. As emphasized in the Ministry of Labor, such a measure to support the population was prepared on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation.
